Youth in Health Care Industry Initiative

Is your child in a health-related CTE (Career and Technical Education) high school program? Perhaps your child is not in this program but still desires to go into the health field.

Maybe your child is only in the 7th or 8th grade and they are interested in the health field, but not sure what careers they want to focus on.

Well, the industry as well as so many others are rapidly changing. It is crucial that students carefully prepare for their future because the world is transforming drastically...right before our very eyes.

Those of use that grew up without cell phones and the bombarding of technology, but was given a great educational foundation will need to help them navigate through this next challenging era.

At the same time, there is a crucial need for those with a high level of technology knowledge and skills to work with the youth. They need a solid knowledge foundation to start as well as specific skills moving forward. It's no secret that technology is growing exponentially and there are benefits as well as dangers.

Parents, professionals, and youth and community leaders please don't wait until something devastating happens to begin to make the youth you are connected to aware.
